A brief introduction into RASA :

In the four years since RASA was formed we have seen our numbers grow to in excess of 1300 members. (Not too bad for a young organization). We are often asked of the benefits of joining RASA and what we have envisaged for the future.
RASA is a non-profit organization that was formed to act in the interest of the South African restaurateur and to ensure that there was a lobby and a voice to speak on his/her behalf.
In the long run it is envisaged that RASA would be able to offer discounts and services to it's members, made possible by our large representative base.
The first of these benefits is a preferential rate from Standard Bank on all transaction fees. This rate of 2.25% is worth thousands of rands per annum to the average restaurant and we are currently working on numerous members benefits including a loyalty program and business to business relationships with our suppliers.
