Brigid Ryall

Brigid came over to South Africa in 1994 from Jersey in the Channel Islands ….. her first job was with Fedhasa who was at that time headed up by Deon Viljoen. Brigid originally was taken on for inputting data and ended up running the South African Restaurant Association (originally called SARG (the South African Restaurant Guild) but then changed to association). During her time at FEDHASA they entered into a joint association with the NRA (National Restaurant Association in the States) and during a visit to the NRA Show in Chicago signed a Certificate showing their joint affiliation which was a very exciting time. Brigid had a great time whilst at FEDHASA and during this time met many of her colleagues from the restaurant industry and has remained friends with them to date.
After working at FEDHASA for some time she then left to take up a position at Ocean Basket heading up their PR. Brigid worked at Ocean Basket for some 4 years and then left to set up her own PR and Marketing company which she ran for a year. One of her clients during this time was Dulce Café whom she decided to go and work for full time. Brigid has now been with Dulce for 6 years and is their Marketing Manager. They currently have 60 Dulce Cafes and now have 3 other restaurant groups falling under their banner, Deli Biscotti, Pizza Guys and Ayaboya for which Brigid also does all the marketing for.
Brigid has recently had her first child, Francoise, together with her partner Frank, so her life is more hectic than ever! |
